Sunday, November 24

Guest worship leader, Daniel Heffington, will lead us in worship for our morning service. We will have an Evening of Worship and Praise with Daniel Heffington at 7:00 PM.

Daniel Heffington is a singer/songwriter who pairs unforgettable melodies with driving rhythms. A native Virginian, his original songs are steeped in the musical heritage and tradition of the Southeast and fit in with the genre-defying soundscape of the modern era. He’s known for the energy and passion of his live performances that feature soulful vocals and poignant lyrics.

In addition to recording and releasing original music, Daniel has been leading worship in churches since the age of 15. Using music to celebrate the hope of the Gospel is the continuing thread of Daniel's art and ministry. He is one of the worship leaders at Cornerstone Chapel in Leesburg, Virginia and regularly shares music with churches around Virginia.

With over 10 years of solo music experience, Daniel has played for crowds ranging from intimate living room audiences to headlining university concert events. His music connects with incredibly diverse audiences as he communicates stories of life, love, and hope through his songs. This has given Daniel the opportunity to take his music into music clubs, concert venues, summer camps, homes, and churches alike.

Daniel has collaborated with artists such as: Mac Powell (of Third Day), Mark Schultz, The Last Bison, and many others.

When he’s not making music, Daniel can be found cooking, exploring, speaking at Generation Joshua events, and hanging out at his favorite local coffee shops. Daniel lives in Virginia with his wife, Abigail and their daughters, Ellie and Piper.

Why Do People Leave the Church?

This event is coming to Woodstock, and I would like to invite everyone to attend with me. Here is your chance to experience an Apologetics conference that will (I believe) be encouraging to your faith and confidence in what is truth. Happening, next weekend, March 7 and 8. https://www.faithandreasonapologetics.com/mary-jo-sharp/ In over 30 years of ministry, there is one aspect of church life that young people have shared with me that has caused them to leave a church. It has also been a primary purpose for them, leaving the Christian faith in general. And here it is, The unhealthy, emotional, and spiritual immaturity of life-long church attenders and believers. These have been people whom they wanted to trust and look up to, but who have lived with an offense, trivial criticalness, judgmental attitudes, hypocrisy, inability to relate to current culture, church hurt, etc. These have been some of the most significant factors influencing young people to walk away from the chur...

Keep Silent

Let All the Earth Keep Silent Sunday's message focused on learning to be silent. Silence is perhaps one of the most counter-cultural disciplines we can enter into as Christians. We were challenged to spend 2 minutes of silence twice a day in order to begin shifting our busy and noisy lives. How has your silence been? Have you been able to make time to be silent? If so, what has it been like? We would love to hear. Click here to let us know. If you missed the service, you can watch it by clicking below.
